The multiple duplicates feature allows you to indicate not only that you have a duplicate cap, but exactly how many: 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 or more.
This option is disabled by default. If you don’t enable it, duplicates will continue to work as before (simply marking or unmarking).
How to enable it
Go to Profile > Preferences.
Find the "Multiple duplicates" option and check the box.
Save the changes.

How to indicate the quantity
With the option enabled, when you click the duplicate button (the green square) of a cap — either on the cap’s detail page or in the popup window when clicking it — a dropdown will open to select the quantity.
If you don’t have that cap in your duplicates yet, you will see the options 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5+. Choosing one will add the cap with that quantity.
If you already have it, the dropdown will also include 0.

How it’s displayed
When you have more than one duplicate of a cap, the number appears inside the same green square. This way you can see at a glance how many you have of each cap, both on the detail page and in lists.

How to remove a cap from your duplicates
Open the cap’s dropdown and select 0. The cap will no longer be in your duplicates.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if I disable the option? Caps you’ve marked will be retained. The button will behave again as a simple marker (mark/unmark), without a dropdown.
Do other users see the quantity I indicate? The quantity is information from your duplicates collection and is shown on your profile as before.
